Thank you Jim, for coming in as our leader at a horrendous time in Astellas history, with your Satan-like predacessor P.S. and Sumavel. What an incredible time of loss of talent and loss of work life balance. It was pure and utter insanity. Jim came in, had good ideas, spoke to us with respect, and we all breathed a sigh of relief. He addressed ridiculous admin work again, and again and again, and AGAIN. Can you say TRACKERS? Some of you weren't with Astellas when we had 30% mgd care coverage for our main product, Vesicare. Numbers tanked, and people were threatened and bullied, and PIP-ed right out of here in droves. IN DROVES. We had a killer product, and some inept RAMS lost our mgd care coverage. Jim came in with Health Systems, and got it fixed. It was nothing less than amazing.
So, no matter why he left, he deserves our thanks for what he did to change morale. He gave us a reason to feel good about working at Astellas again.

They will merge the Hospital drugs with their own, and jettison Hospital Sales Force. To add insult to injury, they will sell Northbrook HQ to Takeda.
