Jeter Out - Instant Karma

The Yankees are going to be hard pressed to win it all now that 'Saint' Derek Jeter is out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury. This is all about karma - Everything always seems to go the Yankee's way, especially in the post season, and they have been very fortunate injury wise. If you take a good look at Jeter's numbers the past few years, there is no way a 38 year old shortstop, who was clearly in decline in 2010-2011, could play at such a high level and post the offensive numbers Jeter did this past season.

Because he is held in such high regard, as a 'good guy', not many people are willing to speculate that 'Saint' Derek could be getting some help from HGH. There is no current test for HGH and Jeter could very well be doing just enough in order to maintain his performance at age 38, when most shortstops are well past their prime. There really is no explantation, other than use of a perfomance enhancer, as to how Jeter is able to put up the numbers he has in 2012. This injury is payback as the karma train made a stop in the Bronx. It will be interesting to see how Jeter recovers from this injury and how he performs next season.

While I would never cheer for a player to get injured, I can say that I didn't feel all that bad for Jeter or the Yankee fans. It will be nice not to have to watch the Yankees in the World Series as their chances just got alot slimmer with 'Saint' Derek's injury.

If idiots could fly, Yankee Stadium would be an airport.

If Jim Leyland puts that human Gas Can, Jose Valverde in another game, he should be fired, immediately. This guy has been a major piece of shit this year, especially in the playoffs. That said, it will be nice not having Jeter to worry about the rest of the series.

Calm down, BN, the first poster just stated that "there was no test for HgH" - I'm just saying that there is indeed one.

I am more than 'calm', FT - I just pointed out that baseball doesn't test for HGH. I think you may be the one who needs to chill.

I like the Tigers to take it all in six games.

I like the fact that Verlander is on a mission this year. He lifts the rest of the Staff too. Sanchez is pitching for a contract and Delmon Young is playing for one. Dombrowski set this team up perfectly.

Plus, they want to win it for Mike Illitch. He has been the best Detroit Sports owner of my lifetime. He proved with the Red Wings that he knows how to pick people, who can pick talent. He opened Europe for the NHL. I hope that you are right.
