You will most likely not start as a SR or Exec level rep. It really doesn’t matter because the yearly merit increase won’t be much anyway so get as much as you can when you start. The pay is pitiful. $85-90K. If you need a job badly or just need more experience in the industry it’s an ok contract overall but the pay really is not competitive. Try and find a direct hire position if you can. You’ll be able to make at least $20-30k more base salary doing the exact same job. Good luck!

I worked this contract pre pandemic and made 75 base. And I didn't know if any syneos reps who were senior or executive level reps.

Contract had two layoffs in less than a year, janssen did rollover a lot of syneos reps along the way tho. But yea, not saying it won't happen but I haven't worked any syneos contracts that hired someone as a senior rep. The base range for most syneos contracts are the same regardless of experience.

Do they even roll over contract reps any more? I thought they just string you along as needed and then cut you. What’s the point to bringing you over?

I worked the contract in 2018 and several people in my hiring class were rolled over and promoted. But that's definitely not the usual.

Senior or Executive level as a Syneos contract rep?

With a lot of experience, you may get a bit more money than a newbie but it all depends on the money the manager has to spend. The more you get, the less someone else gets out of the same pot. But, don't expect a title of "Senior" or "Executive", those do not exist on Syneos contracts.
