Janssen Week of October 1, 2012

I have 2 in-services and I plan on starting my 4Q working hard. Everything else will take care of itself.[/QUOTE

Great! That is exactly the answer the original poster most likely wanted to hear. Made me feel more confident after reading ur post

I have heard a lot of rumors as well. But are they just rumors? or should us janssen reps hold on tight for another ride?

The point of the reply was to let the poster know I'm not going to get myself worked up in a tizzy because there are "rumors" about change.

This is the way it's been for the last 5 years and probably the way it will be from now on. The point of the reply was to relay the message that the best way to address these "rumors" is to keep working and not let your business suffer because of the distractions.

Maybe the reply should have just been a soft:

There, there (stroking hair on your head as we rock in an embrace) don't you worry about anything...everything will work out...you're a little trooper and you're going to be just fine.

If you do not get yourself worked up on rumors,Why are you so active on this site? Just sayin..

From a post while back:

Here are the moves: now that he has destroyed Cordis and is tearing Ethicon apart and chased out Fisher, Pruden will be moved in to take over pharm and tasked with moving Joaquin out of his role. Gorsky has never been a fan of Duatos, and Pruden has always been Gorsky's hatchet man. AG will never get blood on his hands. He'll also want to keep Pruden close as his butt is getting pulled into the Risperdal lawsuit fire. Pruden and AG were the lead dogs in the Risperdal mess and this way they can protect each other, and a lot of the other former Risperdal marketers are still hanging around in strategic marketing and Janssen Biotech. There will be a few bones thrown their way to keep them in line. This way they can keep an eye on each other and make sure nobody steps out of line. you'll see a further consolidation of Janssen pharma/biotech marketing. AG doesn't believe there needs to be that much separation between large and small molecule and can be a further merging of operations. Jennifer Taubert will report to GP and be given authority to break things down across all of NA pharm. There will be a flattening of the organization. Some VP roles will be eliminated as the operating companies are becoming less distinct. There will not be the big dramatic move, but between now and mid next year, youll see most of these moves play out.

There needs to be deep cuts in Pharma admin areas (i.e. NOT salesforce).

There are simply too many piggies on the t*t and there's not enough milk for everyone.

There are literally layers upon layers of Directors and VPs. Associate Directors, Senior Directors and M1s/M2s galore. I look at the disaster that is the Pharma admin and wonder what the hell HR has been doing the last 5 years or so. What a mess.

Then a new herd.....
It will NEVER change...it justifies itself.........

They have not been rumors for the last five years you ass clown. They have laid people off at dizzying levels. If you are not worried you are not a little trooper you are more than a little stupid or a minority. Have fun idiot!!
