Janssen Contract

Was anyone given a definitive answer as to when this contract ends? I know that you never really know... They could say three years and it end in one. Or they can say one year and they keep extending it to three. But I'm trying to get a feeling for it - There are so many reps out there with Invokana calling on the same offices that access becomes even more limited.

So what's everyone think?

By the way, it may be different for Specialty vs. Primary Care. I'm Specialty and Janssen told me during the interview it was 1 year. InVentiv never really said. I heard Primary Care was told 3 years.

I was told it was 3 for specialty.

As you can see, nobody knows including inVentiv.

Suggest the following.

Work on updating resume (really polish it up, do some research on what a good resume looks like, not just adding a few dates and new job title and fluff ie, moved market share 250% first 2 weeks of 2nd quarter 2014!)

Check in with the inVentiv recruiter who got you onboard..something short, positive and let'em know you enjoy it here and success your having.

Update the ol'LinkedIN account: Google 'most overused LI words'-sure you've got some on your profile..how many dynamic, award winning, great relationship reps are out there?? yep, 1000s...start following companies and topics that interest you.

In other words you should be in the job hunting mode now, don't wait for the 'call' about contract ending. Worse that can happen is that you get offer, more money with new company.
