Are you kidding me? They have no intentions of making cuts to the West Coast. They are going to need all hands on deck to pick up the lots that NJ will no longer be processing. Relocation packages will most likely be offered to some of the NJ staff to support SB and UC.
 






Hopefully, they will go after the whiners and disenchanted who don't help move this company forward. New Jersey was a no brainer. One East Coast and one West Coast. Getting out of the disfucntional state of New Jersey instead of business friendly Georgia was also a no brainer.

Now the trick is to do a better job of staffing back up with people that want to work instead of post all day long about ow sorry their lives are.

This is good news, I read in the press release there would be further reductions, since NJ is closing, where would the reductions occur?
Sorry for the NJ force, glad to hear relocation is possible.
Aside from the exchanges about MG and all the complaining, there are many employees breathing a sigh of relief, facing the unknown is tough on morale.

Apparently you didn’t bother to listen to the CC. They confirmed, NJ would be shut down with more cuts to Seattle. This is why these boards are filled with BS, folks write about crap without getting the facts!

I didn't listen to the CC, I read news reports. The reports mention further RIF's in the future. My question initially was wondering at what level the cuts would occur. One of the posters responded there would be no further cuts.
I rechecked the reports and yes, there is mention of further cuts in the workforce in the future.
You might read the posts and process the comments prior to making an assumption that people are "writing crap without getting the facts."
I am trying to get the facts so I can figure out the next steps to make the best choice in employment.
I have no beef with management or DNDN, just trying to make sound financial and career decisions.

You have come to a totally wrong message board to make any career decisions. The vast majority of posts here are from people that DO NOT work for Dendreon. Most are stock traders trying to create as much turmoil and fear at the company so they can profit from it. You will neer get any worthwhile advice from this cesspool message board.

Not at all, they said there would be cuts to admin of roughly 30%. Also, the manufacturing facility in NJ is being closed, but they filed on July 12 that they have rented office space in NJ.

When have you ever gotten all the info or straight info from these crooks?

I realize some of the posts are not employees but I think some are employees that are scared or frustrated.

This board is the ONLY board that has been right about EVERYTHING for the last 2 years. The stock boards were and still are about 80% longs who rode this piece of shit from 57 to 4.
The few comments on the stockboards about Cafe Pharma are from people who were long who now admit that the Cafe Pharma board was right all along.

The only way for a board to be this right is if it was and is mostly employees. Those who are skeptical about this board being mostly employees or who think it is just disgruntled employees spreading lies have lost their shirts and have been wrong for 2 years. This board has been about truth for 2 years. Nothing but truth. Anyone saying otherwise is being told to post here to discourage those telling the true story about this toxic shit cesspool company.
 






Has anyone considered that its NOT a coincidence that so many of the NJ staff have received offers from a large company with headquarters in New Brunswick? I find it astonishing that nobody has picked up on this. Yet. It may be over, but far from done. This story is about to get very interesting.

That would be a takeover which is the ONLY way out. Thats what many of us have been saying. There is some stupid paid fuck here who thinks this company can still go it alone.
 






There will be no buyout in the near future unless it goes to pennies. The reason is the debt load carried by dndn due in 2016. Without a cash reserve the company is untouchable except at a yard sale like Allos or CTI. And no one will touch CTI since it does not have approved product or phase 3. I am an investor (no position with dndn) and work in pharma BD.

Good luck to all. JJ has a good record of setting up organizations for sale. He has a fine reputation and will do his best for the board and shareholders. JD is a donkey's behind for his comments on the cc blaming sales force disruption. That was pure horse manure.
