We make more money for this company than the stupid pharmaceutical division. Nothing new happens in Pharma to write about anyhow. The future of vision care is all that matters for B+L.

original op here. you are dumber than the contact lens reps. pharma makes 100 mil and vision makes 1 bil. don't be stupid. My point was this is a pharma board and we don't care about contact lens division

Ha, ha! You're all dumbasses because you you work for B+L. Does it matter which division you work for? No. You're all losers in a big, big way. Let's look at it this way, which division is number one in it's respective market. Vision Care - No. Pharma - No. Surgical - No. You don't need a high school diploma to work this one out. What a bunch of losers.

When you work for a private equity firm the definition of winning is making a salary year after year. The success of the company means nothing because when the company sells or IPOs everyone has a good chance at losing their jobs regardless of how much work they did to make the company successful or not.
 






To the OP - It's been a while since I left the sinking ship that is B&L. However, $0.80 of every dollar of Renu sales is pure profit for the company. The highest margins are (or at least were) in the VC division. Yet the greatest R&D expenditures are (or were) in pharma, followed by surgical.

I have to agree with you though...if you're going into malls and doc-in-a-box retail establishments, you shouldn't be patting yourself on the back as a sales professional. VC is the lowest rung on the sales ladder in ophthalmology.
