This dog is dead. The patient has lost the heartbeat. Elvis has left the building. The horse is glue.

JJ stepping out is like the Captain jumping off the ship right..... Before.... It...... Tips....

Over.

You know Lou and Parul are already cleaning out their offices.

It isn't over. He was on the board for dendron and was offered more money to go.

Its the American greed baby!

oh yeah it's ALL about the patients JJ. That's a huge disappointment to believe that a leader didnt have the conviction to follow through for the RCG patients, but similarly got a whole bunch of people to sign on. What kkind of cr*p was he selling people to get them to oin, knowing full wel he was prob a short timer himself. So much tere for passion and commitment JJ.

He's laughing All the way to the bank! Fooled you once...fooled you twice...What makes DNDN and WS think he's going to turn it around. He probably just got lucky at Imclone. Icahn went thru many CEOs in one year and jj just happen to be at the right place at the right time

JJ is a rich failure. He uses that folksy style to his economic advantage. His stuff works for a while. Savient will turn around under Norton; smart and a class act. He will eventually get rid of some senior, high priced JJ Imclone boobs especially the lawyer and Rick. Rick was well known at Imclone as a liar and incompetent. Thats why Lilly closed the plant he built.

JJ History as I have heard

He worked his way up at Pfizer and then got a job at J&J. He moved to OBI and got lucky. Then he left and was a failure. He returned to J&J (a very ass kissing company) and got promoted to a level beyond his means. He got fired from J&J and walked across the street.

At Imclone He was a figure head one of many Icahn CEOs. JJ tells everyone the story of how he was at a meeting with investors when they were rude and reading BBs. Thats how JJ and his "senior staff" found out Imclone was sold to Lilly.

AT Lilly they realized he was stupid and a figurehead in oncology as JJ never went to live in Indianapolis. As his 2 years were up, Lilly was glad that he went to Savient.

At Savient he was rarely seen as he "worked from his home office". He left Savient because his options were well under water, a BOD that wasn't going to give him a bonus or pay increase and making it tougher for him.

So he found a company that was in worst shape than Savient that no one wanted to go to. Now he will lead them and if it succeeds he is very rich and if not his time in pharma is over.

This is a great example of how a boob in pharma gets rich while others suffer.

Good insight except one flub.....Savient will not turn around under Norton.

Ask your manager how sales are for the company? They won't give you a straight answer, I know I can't get an answer. Just think about your own territory....how hard it is to get a new patient identified and then how many drop out because the drug does not work. Are you even selling enough to justify your salary and benefits? Can you double or triple your sales in the next four to five months? That's what we need to do or we are done.

Don't forget what JJ said on stage before leaving....it was something like we have done everything we needed to do in the home office now it is up to the sales team. Setting the sales team up for a rude rude awakening.

Look for a new job. The gig is up!! The sales will not be there to justify keeping the lights on. The shareholders are pulling out now too. Physicians don't believe in the product. This will be an MBA case study, the fall of an organization. Jj knows it will not make it so take the clue sales people and go to another company!

It never started. This gig was a joke from the first day and will be to the last. this gravy train is about over. Johnson was the only smart one here and his collections of bullshit hires will soon be out as well. this place is a nightmare to the end. thankfully i have had a second gig on the side like the rest of my team, we are not as dumb as we play to be. savient is paying for my gas and transpo for my side job, sweet as hell!

Savient could give a shit about your second job, nobody cares what the reps do, one thing for certain there aint no selling going on. Enjoy it while you can, or like the majority get paid to interview with another company while treading water and waiting for the ax.

I agree, for something to be over does it have to start to begin with? This fucked up company never even got off the ground, from the firings and bloodletting of 2009 to now, it has always been a joke of sorts. No talent, no products, no managed care, no nothing. Look at the leadership and you will find the answer. This place wreaks from the top down.
