All the major companies need to rely on a strong IT department to support all their systems.
Yet, IT is just another department at Alexion that is colapsing.
Management was unable to predict the impact that this will have in the near future.
Wait and see...

You're quite right.
Modern corporations depend so much on IT without even noticing.
Everyday systems, research and development systems, emails, costumer relations, messaging, communications...
I heard that a large percentage of this Alexion IT knowledge that it's leaving right now is being hunted by other pharmas.
Go Ludwig!!!

Correction... IT colapsed.
There is no decent IT Support in EMEA.
The IT person who was cleaning up the house in EMEA was sent away in december. They should regret it and call him back. The new guy is horribel.

C'mon - they deserve every bit and them some. Look at the massive share price increase since they started creating tons of shareholder value. Look at all the sweet assets they have brought in to rebuild the pipeline. Look at the MAJOR impact on revenue so far. And the capper - the culture is now SOOOO awesome, and 99.9999% of the employees said that not only is Alexion the best place they have ever worked, they can;t even imagine under any scenario or any huge offer from a competitor ever leaving the company because nothing could ever be better. They BOD should dole $40M in shares to the EC every year with these same massive results

No decent IT service in the US also.
Deplorable...
Lets look on the bright side, the CIO must have his pockets full with all these changes.
Must be to compensate the shares low value.
Everybody wins... NOT.
