The game the executives have been playing: raise their own pay each year while having less accountability. It’s why you’ll never see BG or GG in any meeting, and certainly never on an email. GG’s opening line at NSM, “I’ve been very distant from the business over the past few years”. Top priority for them is to sever the traceability of fraud to themselves. Their “strategy” has been absolutely pathetic, but there is no reasoning with them—because they don’t care and they are un-equipped to do anything remotely innovative.
