Time off territory is a joke here. This is the only pharma company I know of that doesn’t shut down between Christmas and New Year’s. Employees have to use vacation time which frankly is not enough, compared to industry standards. I loved the small feel of it here when I started at Xeris a couple of years ago. but now they are acting a lot like the big pharma companies so it is losing its appeal. Minimal vacation time and a horrible 401 k. I do enjoy my job but starting to have pangs of regret of not going to a larger company. Then they cut down on phone reimbursement. Not a huge deal but I don’t think you should ever “take away” from your employees. Stay the same at least if you cannot make things better. Trrrible for employee morale. And speaking of lowering morale…the way the recent expansion was handled. Don’t even get me started on that.
