ISI Used Cars

Anybody read the Bloomberg report today describing ISI as a car dealership? Talk about the nail on the head. I laughed so hard I may have peed a bit. So happy that you d-bags are being called out for exactly what you are.

Now go ahead and try to get to get clever with a come-back.....or, tell ya what. If you buy this robot today, I will throw in a sweet monitor and the clear coat. That is a price I can only give to my friends and only today.

I'm done. It's been a nice ride, but I don't need $200k/yr to deal w/ this sh*t anymore. Pushing surgeons & hospitals to use the Da Vinci for more and more min invasive procedures is against what we should be doing for the future of healthcare in this country. Sure, some surgeons are going to buy into it and see the clinical advantages (i.e. gyn and uro) but in reality, it's not giving "better clinical/patient outcomes." A lap chole should be 20-30 min at most. I've had numerous surgeons who are usually very savvy and excellent surgeons going straight lap struggle with the robot in this procedure and I hate to say it, but we've reached the end of the road. I can't sell something that I don't believe in anymore. I've had it and hope that the rest of you will see the light & soon follow. Best of luck to those who stay.....

Good for you. I have been shocked to see these regular joes getting robotic assisted single incision lap choles. Huge waste of time and money with ZERO clinical advantage. Those hospitals and surgeons should be ashamed that they are completely hosing the patient to get abetter ROI and market the procedure.

For the record, I've been in a bunch of prostate procedures and think the Da Vinci is great. Greed is not.

As we all know- innovation often starts ugly and iterates over time. Not everyone has the vision to see the possibilities of the iterations. Sounds like you're in that camp, and are better suited to the yesterday's technology. Every curve needs a laggard- best of luck to you.
