Is this the best contract company

The best contract company out there is the contract you are currently working on.. it seems that there is an ebb and flow as to "who's the best"...really all about the same..Major factor is what the client company wants..inVentiv could be best but you could be on the worst contract due to crazy demands of client company.. Your DM is the only real face of the company, if you've got a good DM then inVentiv is best to work for, if not.. DO NOT forget that you are on just the 1 contract, no guarantee of being rehired for the next.

Operationally, Ventiv is the best company to work for. You are set up with a streamlined system for expenses, benefits etc that is easy to use and functional. The technology is by far the best. On board paper work, background check is streamlined as well. You never have to fax any reports or expenses. All the paperwork and reports you have to do can be done from the Ipad as well as the laptop.

Well there you go, you don't have to use a fax or mail an envelope at the Post Office,,using that high tech thing called the internet now...now I'm off to RadioShack to find a 24.4 baud, dial up modem.

I pretty much agree with the above poster. Just don't go with either Ashfield or OnCall. Neither of them know their ass from a hole in the ground. Both very shady organizations. Stick with the bigger guys.

It does depend on the contract and what the stipulations of the contract demand. The RBD and DM also make a huge impact on your job here. The trainings are more organized. The online training modules and classroom sessions don't kick you off and crash. If your inventiv laptop crashes, you can always use your ipad or access everything from your personal laptop so there is no such thing as missing a deadline for submitting an expense report.. You don't have to punch in your time / hours on an online time reporting system and all paperwork can be scanned and emailed. Other contract companies require you to be hardwired b/c they are running such bootleg systems.. Just make your calls, log them in on a daily basis and keep your sales numbers up - you won't have any problems here.

Re: this is not the best contract company

I have heard from a reliable source in the pharmaceutical industry that this is not one of the most ethical companies to work for. I have heard great things about Publicis touchpoint however, if you are looking for a contract type job I would go that route.

wonder what could be unethical about Ventiv-they are hugely successful, getting most of the new contracts....having worked for all the big ones, Ventiv is the most professional-if you get a crazy client/DM, Ventiv will back you up....PDI will hang you out to dryie. not back you up!

Been there done that with contract companies having worked for both Publicis and Inventiv. Inventiv is the better company to work for.

pub-la-cyst is by far the worst and has unethical and poor managers like all

make sure you stay away ...you will regret it as I did

ventiv has some of the dumbest recruiters though....
