Seems like they are going to load it up with a lot of new (and old debt) and then sell the whole thing off?

If true, pretty brilliant move by Miles White - Maybe that is why the recent run-up on ABT shares of late...

Think about it...they get a lot of near retirees to bail early out of concerns for losing benefits, the announcement runs the stock price up and then, then they reveal Gonzo's bogus college credentials before pulling back and scrapping the whole idea! Genius!

I could see a major "delay" etc. Possibly a re think after consideration with the flow of events, We believe that splitting the companies at this point would not be in the best inerest of our shareholders, employees, etc
