Is There ANYTHING Good About this Company?

I have been approached about an RSD opening but from what I can tell, managers don't stay around very long. Why is that? Also, I understand there is very high turnover in executive mgmt. What is the reason for this and is there any hope of a long-term career at LifeWatch? Any insight would be appreciated. Pros and cons, please.

I do not work for LW but was recently contacted by a recruiter. I have friends that work at LW, and below is what I have heard recently from a really good source that is in home office: A team of Swiss bought out most the shares of the company and are presumably trying to flip it to sell. They had a plan going in and executed it by letting go of all experienced executives in order to bring in their own team of people with NO experience and questionable ethics. They are using people within in the company to get what they want and then letting them go when they don't need them anymore. They let go of Execs/ RSDs/ sales reps and home office people to "save cost". Under the old executive leadership, this was an excellent company to work for, for they were true leaders that cared about individuals. New Swiss Executive team does not care about any individual. They care about what they can get out of them for a period of time until they decide to terminate them. They are letting go of the experienced and replacing with less experienced with much lower pay and double the responsibility (LW is now in chaos). They are asking reps to take over RSD positions and expected to know how to lead and be responsible for a large team and grow sales with NO training or management experience. They keep promising the sales force better products, but seems to only be dangling a carrot until they sell the company. They thought by getting rid of a very experienced President & VP of Sales and condensing and leaning out sales regions that they could cut costs and run the company, but all they are seeming to do is overwork very good people and say one thing, but do another. If the new executives are making a decision to rehire for any home office, management or sales rep position it is most likely going to be for short term. The new VP of sales (whom lives in Switzerland) is a contract worker, not an employee (brought in to cut costs including bonus and grow revenue) he doesn’t seem to have the experience that one should have to lead, for he is an economist by trade. The past President and VP of sales was the best thing that LW had going for them... the company was moving in the right direction, but now that they are gone along with some really good RSDs and sales reps, other people are jumping ship, it seems that the new Swiss executive team made rash decisions too quick.

Likely could not have been better said. While the recruiters will let you know about this position, it's best to ask them what the culture has been like. They know who's been let go, and they've been in shock at times about it. If you're in desperate need of a job, take it with the expectation that it may not be the best environment. It used to be. They'll give you time to ramp up so don't worry about that. You should also ask where Q3 results are as they have not been posted yet and we're in the first week of December.

If you want to know who you would be working for, look up auexevo .com and you can also check him out on linkedin. This guy should have never taken over the VP of Sales position. The last VP of Sales was the best thing LW had going for them. The company was stronger than ever before. Now this auexevo guy is "leading" the team of RSDs and is letting go of really good talent for NO reason but to get cheaper and less experienced talent in. He takes advice from LE, Executive VP of special projects because he doesn't know any of the U.S. business himself, and makes irrational decisions based off advice from others.

Interesting... just checked it out. LW current VP of Sales that is cutting good people for no reason has experience in building dental center chains in Switzerland.. also I see that he was part of building a telecom company in Switzerland in the past, a joint-venture between US and Swiss companies.. does anyone know if he new your EVP of compliance guy EL from the past?

Does this Auxevo/LW VP of Sales guy live in the U.S. or Switzerland? How is he supposed to manage and lead a strong team of RSD when he is busy building dental offices in Switzerland? So, let me get this straight.. he terminates experienced RSDs and leaves in previous sales reps to do the job and keeps them working 24/7 like hamsters on a wheel and paying them very low salaries. He wants Super Reps with no management experience/training to have Director of Sales responsibility? Sounds like compliance issues waiting to happen. Forget it, I am out.

It has been a long time since I have visited this forum and looks like I'm not alone. The days of the Israeli leadership are long gone and at first it seemed like the Swiss were a breath of fresh air. It started out with all this transparency and communication and ACTION. We thought - wow - maybe things are turning around.

Unfortunately, I have never distrusted senior management so much as I do SV and SR. From what I can tell, they have no regard for people - only profit. They have no principles, no core values and no true leadership skills. Ask any question during one of those pointless town hall meetings and watch them dance around and provide no real information with a bunch of meaningless, non-committal words.

I'd take the Yacov, Rafi, Bogart team back any day. Those guys might not have been popular with everyone all the time but at least you knew where you stood. The information you got may not have been complete or exactly what you wanted to hear but at least it was true most of the time.

The wild turnover in the senior management and throughout our sales organization creates the most stressful working conditions I have ever worked under.

Bitter much? Tell us... Why are you so disgruntled? I really want to know. In fact, if you have to list in order the top three things that disgust you, what would they be?

Is it Lee as everyone on here seems to suggest? Is it Stefan or other Swiss leadership? Lies about Vital Connect? Goals or comp plan issues? RSD incompetency? Weigh in and let the management know what the real problem is without bashing.

Everyone is talking about how bad LW is now. You can hear rumors at doctor's offices, hospitals, Cafepharma, competitors, etc. Everyone wonders why LW treat valuable employees they way they do(termination for not reaching unattainable goals). Let's be realistic, there isn't one good thing happening for us. Swiss don't know this industry, territory history, territory Payor mix, Payor chalenges, competitors, management incompetence, lack of transparency, etc. LW doesn't care about us, never did.

Or termination for absolutely no reason at all. Half the people who were terminated over the summer were above goal. At least one of the RSDs was way over goal. On all four RSDs in fired in the last few months - NO reason given to them for termination. Mark and Roger? A total compliance BS excuse where punishment didn't fit the crime at all. It's all power play and games of war with real people and real lives.

You want to know why people hate LifeWatch? Because the people aren't valued here. Lee is at the heart of building this culture. No one will invest in you. You are dispensable at any time whether you are good at your job or not - oh and by the way - "we will fire you but force you to abide by your non-compete and prevent you from acquiring work elsewhere." That's right - out of the 30 or so people who were fired this past year? They all had to adhere to their non-compete or LW threatens to sue them.
