Is the vaccines business division a great place to be?

A few years back I was told that vaccines was the place to be. I'm wondering if it is the best division to be in at GSK. Good, bad and ugly?

Was in the vaccines unit for 10 years. Was a great place but was destroyed by horrible management, coupled with Al leaving. Pipeline is so so at the most. My advice is to get out of GSK completely. A new logo isn’t going to change a horrible culture….

I like the VBU. Excellent leaders and good opportunity for growth. Excellent R&D.

The worst place in pharma, for sure- that is GSK. Vaccines is no different. I agree with outsiders GSK that divisions will be sold off to the highest bidders once consumer is fully divested from pharma. Wall Street commented on there being better value sold off in pieces vs complete organization.

To a large extend most sales people in the VBU are extremely unhappy at GSK. It's amazing the large amount of negative energy in the unit. I'm on the fence, there is good and not so good. But still, so many unhappy people. What a way to live your life.
