im hearing IS/MS will split into two different sales forces in Q4. IS will also sell VTS but overall there will be a reduction in headcount. Anyone else heard this yet. Makes sense to me.
Pulm is downsizing so I am toldim hearing IS/MS will split into two different sales forces in Q4. IS will also sell VTS but overall there will be a reduction in headcount. Anyone else heard this yet. Makes sense to me.
You have to want IS.Would you rather rep the MS or IS side of business based on recent developments??

You heard right for sure and over a month ago. What else have you heard ie how is this MS place or displace going to be determined?
In a CP world of rumor mongers and wild ass speculators your information was spot on
I’ve not heard anything on the particulars. I never heard a number thrown around on the size of either sales force just that this was coming and that the total head count of the split teams would be much smaller than the current. I heard that as early as May so it was in the works for several months even prior to 60 minutes and CNN. I’ve not heard how they will determine who stays, goes etc...
I also called the Pulm/Rheum thing months back. That deal hasnt finished. This is just a stepping to one Pulm/Rheum/Ophth TA. They are going to let attrition set in over the next Quarter and try to hang on to as much business as they can (like trying to catch a falling knife) you’ll see these TAs merged more and more over time. By Jan 19 youll have a PRO team. The PRO MSL team was designed to support this team new Sales structure but NM couldn’t get the NSDs to go along which is why JR was hired to help drive and implement this and part of the reason why EH is out now. This is all in preparation for losing Medicare in Feb 2019. ME told me it’s all but assured she put the odds at 3 to 1 in favor of Medicare dropping us. Like I’ve been saying it’s all over but the crying.
