Because she doesn't have a new position. Her made up role was eliminated and she was separated. At least thats the story. Who knows, maybe her shenanigans caught up with her and HR stood up for once. When you wonder why CP posters are viewed as clueless, this thread is a good example. Promotions mean more reports and more visibility, and more direct impact. KK was layered, set aside, and not fired, likely as it would be a major admission of a terrible hire.
