Is David Boyd still at Astellas?

Apparently you don't really know anything about Astellas. Everyone at his level are under several microscopes from different parts of the company. Watchdogged if you will. They know exactly what he's about and as long as he is a performer and does it the Astellas Way he won't be booted out. Those who don't do it the Astellas Way don't last long. Call it whatever you want or point fingers at whomever, but the reality is in the mirror in front of you. You might be at the wrong company or the wrong person in the job.
 



You are so wrong. I've been here since the merger. The decline of the company started when people like Boyd appeared. You are one naive person. Good luck.. Keep believing.
 



Companies ascend and decline. One thing is for sure they rarely stay the same. Unfortunately your pining for the past is fruitless. As we've gotten bigger different people come and go. Look at the people at the top. They've change as well. Better or worse? Astellas is what it is and it's going to continue to change and evolve. You have to ask yourself do want to be here? I doubt it will ever go back to the way it was before the merger. Accept your reality.
 






I have worked under David since he came to Astellas. I have found him professional, and friendly. But then I do my job and don't complain all the time. I am currently in SABU, his current assignment, and still like him. Don't you all have something better to do?
 






I have also worked with David since he came to Astellas (not Lisa) and have found him to be professional and also motivating. I'm sad that he is not my director any longer, but glad that he is still with the company. Not sure why there is so much hate, but I do know that if you didn't work or were not good at what you did you either were exited from the company, exited on your own, or were not given opportunity. Seems fair.

Again, if you are one that works well with DB, good for you. You are either a good looking female, a guy that will tells him how great he is at the bar, subservient to his ideas, or willing to cower down to him.

Many people that worked with him at other companies have shared his past poor personnel choices and behaviors. He is safe at Astellas as long as SS is running the place. DB fills a void that is needed.
