Had 2 phone interviews going to next phase. Not sure if it's worth leaving my present position. Looks promising though

Agree with second poster. It would be stupid to leave ANY job for a start up in this economy. huge likelihood it won't make it past the first year, plus start ups are notorious for offering a huge comp package and then not paying out bonuses due to "unforseen challenges" or asking everyone to take a pay cut.
I agree to a point, but I have been in two start-ups and both are still going strong and made me ton of cash. Plus, Chelsea is launching with an orphan drug with an unmet need and really no competition to speak of. All signs say the FDA is going to approve their drug as anticipated. The comp should be pretty decent and equity in the company is also a good thing. This may be worth a chance and could pay off big time. And, if you're a good rep, you can always find another gig if things don't work out as planned. I would take the risk.
I have submitted my info to Chelsea as well as had a couple of internals drop my name...still have heard nothing. Does anyone know where they are in the interview process.
Just starting with initial phone screens.
Potentially higher on the base----contingent upon your current salary of course. 36k is the yearly target at 100% attainment----plus a company profitability multiplier on top of that 36k should the organization exceed its forecasted goals.
For a start-up, literally the best comprehensive benefits package in the industry---by "best" I mean virtually zero dollars that the potential employee has to contribute out of their paycheck (no, not an HMO either).
Also, for those of you assessing the "risk", I certainly wouldn't downplay that element; however, the head of sales at Chelsea had the same position at Scios---reach out to anyone who worked there and ask them how much the performers made in bonus year after year-----the stated plan at CHTP is to absolutely make that happen again-----the upper echelon of sales will make a WHOLE lot more than 36k.
The company is run by tenured people who know how to do this start-up thing right.
I have heard allowance.
What kind of company cars do you get??
