Is anyone still happy here

Seems that the vibe has gotten worse over time. More a more people comment that they are simply holding on in hopes we are bought. It’s sad to see what has happened here. For anyone that has been here for some time, it is obvious. Once the honeymoon is over ..you can see it on people’s faces.

It's shocking this company is still standing given the lack of quality in leadership. Complete amateurs LARPing as biotech executives.

It doesn't seem likely there is going to be a buyout. Pfizer bought Seagen, Novartis isn't going to after their Leqvio disaster. No one else has 30 billion for a company with 1 billion in revenue.

My attitude changes with time. Been here a while. Been through some pretty low lows trying to make shit happen and hitting walls. I've come to accept that I don't have a territory capable of winning presidents club. I don't begrudge the ones that do. These days I spend an equal amount of time trying and enjoying my cush lifestyle. I make a ton of money and will spend half my week relaxing and partaking in things I enjoy. That's pretty valuable. Someday hopefully that comes with a big cash payday.

Yvonne, Tolga, Mara and their yes people gutted this company. The core science may be novel but these blood sucking greedy idiots are the absolute lowest form of "executives".

Been here a while too. Not sure when these guys think things were better.

I think the quality of the people used to be higher. Now you have people here less than 12 months, walking across the stage acting like they caused their own success. There is a lack of humility and self-awareness present in some of the new BAEs.

Yvonne is a fraud and the rest fall in line. I've never met a more insincere, antisocial and reserved leader. She no leader. She's the opposite of JM. Great diversity promotion though.

Culture survey hell! Sick of upper management and so called leadership whining about how to fix this culture here and then never doing a damn thing about it! What a complete sh*show. Misery. Hopefully this will be over sooner rather than later.

NY or elsewhere?

In general, if I were a new BAE having a lot of success, I'd be really careful about publicly tooting my own horn on social media and throughout the organization as having caused the success. Rome wasn't built in a day and when one does this it shows a lack of self awareness and a level of arrogance that your next employer isn't going to find favorable.

The BAEs that have been here the longest know the real story about the accounts you're winning with. Guess who's going to the next big startup first when Alnylam is over? It's not a new BAE who got lucky. Real leaders see right through that BS. And when management seeks feedback on you when you apply for expansion roles what is the story that you want people telling about you? Do you want to be seen as a humble hard worker? Or do you want us to tell a story about how you showed up and took credit for others work?

Food for thought.
