Is Alcon still part of Novartis?

I heard about an Account Manager position in western area with Alcon through a recruiter. She’s telling me all the blah, blah, blah about it, saying it’s a good opportunity to get into a solid company like Novartis. I thought Alcon was split off as of this summer? Is this a good gig? Any ideas about salary/bonus?

Yes, Alcon is now a completely different company. I would be very wary of this recruiter

Then why are there job postings for Alcon on the Novartis website today?

Alcon officially split on June 9th 2019 from NVS

Alcon at this time is a complete surgical compa y with no pharmaceutical products at all.

Time will tell if this changes.
