Ironwood reps make what?

How does it feel to see the rejects from Ironwood making 120,000-130,000 base and commission 40,000 to 50,000. They also got from 3000-5000 stock options.
Not bad most reprsentatives going to Ironwood got a 20,000 to 30,000 increase in base, how does it feel that Forest is the most underpaid sales force.

Good luck lets make Ironwood reps successful so they can cash out their options, and we can take our 65,000 base and sell sell sell. Get those reps back out there, turn on those machines.

They're not making 120-130K base. There may be some reps there at that level, but they would be few and far between. The bulk of their reps are 90-110K. Granted, that's considerably more than the average Forest rep but consider their reps have significantly more industry experience and it's a specialty position. None of their reps got 20-30k increases in base. That's ridiculous. I'm not positive about the stock situation, but it was my understanding that they received shares- not options. So basically, everything you said is wrong. Additionally, if you think the best way to "protest" a co-promote in which you feel slighted is not to work, enjoy idiocy. You're getting paid for this drug too. Why not just do your job and make some money? Who cares what they're making?

We make more than you because we are plain and simple, more more experienced and far more talented reps than you at Forest. I have met some of you and I am not impressed. You are lucky to be making any money in this industry. Improve your skills and maybe, just maybe, you can earn a decent living.

Over 90% of Ironwood reps are making 120K+. Many of us are making over 130K in base. We did receive around 500 stock options at sign-on, and additional stock options will be granted as part of our yearly merit raises.

We are specialty reps with 10+ years of experience and relationships with the GI KOLs. We work for a company (Ironwood) that values us as individuals and not robots, and treats us as adults. Sometimes it's the big things (salary, bonus), sometimes it's the little things (jeans at meetings, separate rooms). We were hired to take the lead on promotion to the GIs. Forest will take the lead with the FPs, where they are stronger.

Sounds like an ex Novartis rep who thought he was bigger than life once upon a time. Heard he found his way back to GI via Ironwood. Good luck if he thinks he has any clout with GIs after being out of it for 5 years. The reps that came from solid GI companies (Shire, Salix and Aptalis) who have been working GI till they quit probably will do well...the ex Zelnorm reps are a different story. Lots of egos in the room.

I've never worked for Novartis and have never been out of the game. My relationships with my GI physicians are solid - many of them encouraged me to that this position.

This thread was started by a disgruntled Amitiza rep from Takeda that did not get a job at Ironwood. Everything the OP states is not true or grossly exaggerated. The Ironwood/Forest copromotion does consider these ironwood jobs as a specialty position. Yes, they do pay like a specialty position in pharma but nothing like what the OP wants everyone to believe. I'm an Ironwood rep, my base is definitely not in the 6 figures, did not get the stock mentioned, and bonus potentiol is nothing what OP lists. I was given about a 8% base increase to come over to Ironwood, so according to the OP I must be getting screwed. All the Ironwood reps I know are looking forward to meeting our Forest copromotion partners and working with them. There is no turf war as this poster wants us to believe, he is just trying to stir the pot and create a divide between the Linzess reps because he knows his Amitiza business is about to get rocked.

This is an exaggeration at best. Less than 15% of the sales force makes over 120k in base. I'm in a position to know. Previous poster was correct in that the bulk of reps are in the 90-110k range.

It doesn't matter what your counterpart is earning (and the previous poster is correct). Our only concern should be what we can make together when we co-promote the heck out of Linzess. Everyone will win. Don't let the competition throw you off of your game. The Takeda folks will try to cause a rift between us because they know that if we come out as a team, then their days are numbered! Good luck.

completely wrong, base salary 120,000 some higher, stock options not shares.
most specialty reps base is in the range of 100,000-120,000 but not to sell a GI/IM/FP drug.

I know somebody who was hired by Ironwood base was 90,000 was given 125,000 plus 4000 options. Before you make statements that cover up the fact that Ironwood overpaid its reps for a CC drug. CHECK YOUR FACTS FIRST THEN POST.

Trust me Forest reps will be doing the bulk of the work, and this rep had no GI experience.

So since you "know" a whopping one person that was supposedly hired by Ironwood, you are obviously a treasure trove of information for all of us to draw upon. Thanks for your remarkably meaningful, almost poetic insight. BTW, ALL CAPS ARE FOR SERIAL KILLERS AND IDIOTS.

I was offered an interview with Ironwood for 120k with 10 years experience, but no GI. Decided to stay in device. Forest people are telling lies on here about the Ironwood salary. Probably theForest management.

Another BS post by Amitiza tool boy, trying to create a rift between new teammates because that is all you got to save what little amitiza business you will have left. I'm sorry to hear you didn't get the Ironwood job.

So you neither work for Ironwood nor Forest but you just happened upon this discussion on the Forest board? Not likely. What is likely, however, is that you're the same goof that keeps posting over and over that all Ironwood reps all make 120k+.

Forest reps Are just jealous because you make less than us. Suck it up, get experience, improve your skills and get out. A few of you may be qualified to earn 6 figures a year. The rest of you, shut the F-/- up and be grateful you have a job the pays you far more than you are worth.

My manager told me I make more than the Forest DM's. This made me feel good. My husband is also a dentist. He treats halitosis and takes care of people with plaque. This is a nice bump in income for our family! He treats me so well, I hope the Forest reps take care of me too.
