Iqvia Contract role or Med-Device Oppurtunity

Hey yall, I know this question comes up alot but pharma or med-device.

I just recieved a Pharma offer with IQVIA (so its a contract role) but also am in the 2 round of interviews with Stryker for a role. I am torn on what to do. I have one year in B2B sales, and really want to get into Medical Device. I came across a Pharma job posting that looked pretty interesting and applied on a whim and got the job.

I have 3ish days to take the offer or not so im torn on what to do. Do i take the for sure offer and work in Pharma for 2 years and then go into Med-Device and just use it as a stepping stone? Or do I hold-out and maybe get this position at Stryker?

Any advice would be great! (Also I am 25 for reference)

Hold off.

If they set a deadline wait it out. Not warm and fuzzy, but this is business.

I would respectfully let Stryker know that you have received an offer with a deadline attached and share your desire to work for them if that is what you want. Then ask them for guidance on next steps and their decision making process. With that information in hand, you should be able to make a more informed decision.
