If you were going to IPO or sell this company when would be the best time to do it?

Before the new products come out or after? The CEO has given dates as to when new products will come out. At least three new products next year. Do you IPO-sell before the new products come out maximizing the high expectations for the new products or do you IPO-sell after the new products come out hoping that actual sales are through the roof and the price of the company will increase greatly?

Are you even paying attention to the state of the economy you mo-mo!

The European Central Bank is about to collapse throwing the entire world wide economy back to 2008 and the special committee couldn't come up with a debt deal which will most likely result in another downgrade. Stock market is headed down!!!!

There's no B&L IPO coming any time soon. Period!

WP is stuck with B&L. Can not sell it. Can not IPO it. The only play left is to run an ultra efficient operation. This means a lean and mean work force. If an outside consultant came in and assessed efficiency of the work force they would find many duplicate jobs and way too many people working on non-essential tasks many which are not even project related. Also the work force is not cross trained so many tasks take forever to complete because there are only a few people able or willing to work outside their comfort zone to get the job done. HR aggravates the problem by producing rigid job descriptions and reporting structures that prevent the utilization of people who could help get the tasks done but are walled off from access.

Sell before new product release. This way you get maximal value for the company. If you wait until after the products are released and they don't pan out in the marketplace then the value of the company will drop substantially.
