IPO here we go

Things you can do to temporary bump up sales before an IPO.

What is legal and what is stretching the truth when it comes to sales and profits? People will have to be cautious as creativity in these IPOs have greatly outweighed reality.

Has B&L recently increased prices on all of their products? This can give a temporary bump to sales but slowly people move from the expensive product to less expensive brands.

Are there really things in the R&D pipeline or are the chance of the products being approved for sale by the FDA suspect. What ever happened to B&L's hydrogen peroxide contact lens disinfecting product that was suppose to come out last year?

What are the market share numbers. Are they improving or getting worst. The competition in this business can decrease sales rapidly depending on what is in the R&D pipeline of the competition.

Yes, price increases have been large and consistent recently.

No, market share has not increased. This is the real story, in spite of the planted stories of improvement that have been fabricated.

No market share improvements just increased prices? Hard to believe that they would actually go for an IPO with such weak financials.

Lost share in contacts to coopervision. Rx share is definitely down. Hard to compare rep level data as it has changed over the years. Makes it very hard to see real picture over time?

If you were unqualified for a job, got paid much more money than you know you are worth, and know no one will hire you for the same salary... wouldn't you want to keep milking B&L and keep the gravy train going. You probably can't relate.

Wait, all the drug reps know exactly what that's like.
