So, Merck lays off thousands last week. At the same time, InVentiv is hiring hundreds of reps for the new Merck contract. Can you idiots that still work in that scum hole see what's happening? Do you realize that there are about 75% fewer reps at Merck today than there were five years ago?

It's OK, though. I'm sure everything is just fine.

What happened to the Inventiv reps who were on diabetes? We were told by the commander all contract reps go first, before any Merck reps would ever be touched....
Did this happen in all districts, or did any managers sacrifice a Merck reps and keep a favorite Inventiv? Think Merck reps would feel totally screwed if this happened. I keep telling my coworkers this would never happen. Our managers are honorable and would never stoop low.

I can't remember a single truth coming from management in the last several years. Over and over we were told there were no plans for further reductions and over and over it's happened. I believe absolutely nothing I'm told. Only a fool would believe management's worthless promises.
