Yeah what is up with that? The new CEO probably realized he can't handle a sales force business and wants to get back to his old marketing gig. Hopefully for the sales force Inventiv ends up at a better managed company with a hint of ethics & accountability. There is a lot of fat to be trimmed from upper management ranks too.
 












As ling as it's not one of the other under achieving CSO's. I know Publicsis Selling Solutions is just a small division of a very big marketing and communications French company.

As one who knows genuine media releases, this is bogus all the way. The tip off is the last quote from the press release. It would never be included. Just another example you can never take anything to the bank on this site just because it looks official.

That was a direct quote from an email that went to all Inventiv employees on Friday afternoon from the VP level of the company. But as "one who knows genuine media releases," I am sure that you are correct, and it did not come from the VP level and our internal email server, but from some 13 year old Indian hacker, bent on creating mischief with a bunch of contract reps in the states.

PS-Next time you are going to be a smug asshole, better make 100% sure you know what the hell you are talking about before you open your mouth...........
 






True, we all received this email- word for word- so as to alleviate any speculation, didn't specifically say but assume part of this move was to alleviate any speculation on here. Interesting.

with recruiting...There are alot of us out here that can't wait to see these scums get
what they deserve...oh...don't forget to treat them like crap....They deserve the same treatment that they extended to the veteran inventiv reps...
 






Well.. having worked for GSW in OH and NYC I hope a better Co. purchases these Companies and brings greater work ethics. The Higher Sr folks should all take a better look on who runs these two offices. No wonder they are not gaining any new clients and or keeping the ones they currently have. I am sure the heavy drinking that goes on in the NYC offce is now going to be over the top. Wonder who heads back to DraftFCB in the next few months ahead.
 






Folks! Let's Make This All Clear - Inventiv Approached Goldman on the seeking of a buy-out!
They were approached by another Co to buy out all the agencies via Goldman...
Smoke and Mirrors people. It's all part of the larger picture. How do I know this.. I worked for a financial company and helped form the special committee. They may sell off some and may sell the entire portfolio. But needless to say when visiting some of the NY offices.. could not help but notice 1st hand that the staff seemed either half in the bag or hung over. The day's of 40 something guys dressing like a Jr High Student are over. On two visits I noticed one old dude with white hair wearing a baseball cap and looked like he had not shaved in a week.

LOL - having my java and reading on. I had freelanced in NY for Inventiv/GSW for a week and would not ever go back. Talk about a nightmare of an agency. There is this assistant to the pres who thinks she is all that and plays music from her office while wearing finger gloves and Matalica t-shirts. She has to be at least 40 years old. She is also the HR person and that alone says what kind of agency this is. The head of creative walks around with McD's cup and I swear there is booze in it. He seems to be trashed or what ever most of the time. The traffic managers have no clue on to what they need to do and the head of traffic comes from consumer. Who the hell hired this one.

Good luck to who ever buys this co. Rehab should be it's 1st move to 40% of the staff.

Ah?-We the employees DID RECEIVE THIS EMAIL FROM THE CEO .. so OH ass for brains you better wake up and smell the BS. As the one person said in this rant its smoke & mirrors. You folks in OH need to freaken wake up and realize NYC is more creative, driven and bizz oriented. Your office is the one who messed all this up for everyone. SO YOU WAKE UP and take your Mid-West BS and go tip a cow. I hope all you OH folks get the boot and are put on the next bus back to farm land and the NY staff gets another chance.

Holy Crap.. just reading all this and some very negative things about NY and OH. I worked for one year in the NY office for two Inventiv Co.s and have to say had a great time. There was never any drinking going on. But this was over 4 years ago and as stated on this wall posting I have also heard the very negative things about NY. But will defend it against OH as to the creative juice. OH should take a back seat when it comes down to best creative thinking. Who ever does end up with these companies should bring it all to NYC and shut down OH all together.

Best of luck to all of you. Never a good sign when your company goes up for sale. Even if its just talk.. it had to start from Inventiv 1st.

"Need to jump in on this" ... The HR and Recruiters for Inventiv who are all from OH have no idea what real talent in advertising is or what creative is. They hire all the wrong people or think of a quick fix with sending over OH staff to the NY office is going to help. PLEASE just let the NY team do what they do best. They hand out the VP titles like candy to kids. I too worked at Inventiv/GSW and would never return. Not enough money would be worth it to put up with the abuse from this agency. I freelanced for three weeks and told my recruiter I would never go back. As for the drinking going on I had never seen this first hand. But did smell the next day the extreme body odor spewing out of several Sr team members skin. When the Pres of the Co. has bottles as trophies in her office.. maybe this is the problem.

SCHMUCK.. The CEO send this out to every Inventiv employee... the big wigs have made the money and now want to dump all the agencies. Where the hell is the loyalty to those who stuck it out with them all these years and helped build it from the ground up. Looks like I am leaving OH and heading back to NYC.

bottom line is you a---holes at corporate ran this company into the ground with poor
decisions and unprofessionalism...the comments from both of you just clarifies why inventiv
is in ruins...I hope both sides get canned...to busy trying to one up each other...make
me puke...all the worst to you both.
