Inventiv/Shionogi Expense Reimbursement

This reimbursement wait is bullshit!!! Thanks Inventiv for making us wait 2 months for our out of pocket expenses. Christmas, great timing!!! I appreciate you making me use my credit card for all these lunches I'm required to have, then make me wait for the reimbursement while interest is accruing. And you don't even have a valid reason as to why we are STILL waiting!!

That's strange. The Interplx system is automatic and once your supervisor approves the expense its in your account within 3 business days. Are you not on the Interplx system? If not Inventiv was probably waiting for the funds from Shionogi.
 






Switched from bi-weekly expense reporting through Interplex, to monthly through Concur. Reports were approved first of December but we still have not been reimbursed. Supposed to get it tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath.

So, let me get this straight....

You use your personal card for company expenses and are reimbursed, and you are complaining? Really?

Ok, Einstein. Let me lay this out for you. 1.) Obtain sig from some stupid clinic at around 11:30-1PM. 2.) Download free Adobe software to your personal PC 3.) Download any number of numerous and varied receipts from the web 4.) Use the Adobe software, as well as the cut/paste feature to put some restaurant's logo onto the receipt with your cc number and an amount equal to a $200 lunch. 5.) Print off the new receipt 6.) Use a paper edger to cut the receipt into the proper shape. 7.) Wrinkle and fold the damn thing to make it look like it has been in your pocket/briefcase for a while. 8.) Re-scan the wrinkled receipt 9.) Submit it electronically for reimbursement and get paid for it.

You can clear at least an extra $250-300 a week with this shit. I have done it for years. Don't ever complain about not having a company credit card. It is a gift to not have to use something that can be tracked..........

And please refrain from referring to me as "Einstein", I didn't start this thread hoping to start a juvenile name calling fight.

Sorry, Copernicus but you signed up for juvenile the minute that you chose to post on this bastion of stupidity called CafePharma.

Perhaps you have been fired and no one has told you yet? Not like any of the office secretaries that you see every day would notice, and report you missing.........?

InVentiv uses Interplx and once approved by your manager it's in your account within 3 days. If you happen to be using Concur that would be something Shionogi has determined they want to use. Sometimes clients like to use their own system for tracking etc, it all depends on how the contract is written. That being said Shionogi is the one holding up your expenses and not InVentiv. The right thing would be for Invetiv to reimburse you while and from their end wait for the payment from Shinonogi. Apparently that is not the case. Unfortunately the specifics of each contract which do differ from client to client are never shared with the field personnel.
