Does Genetech use Inventiv for their entire Sales force, or do they also directly hire reps?
Does Genetech use Inventiv for their entire Sales force, or do directly hire reps?
I don't think so. This company goes far and beyond than any other company I've seen in the last 5 years to make sure they provide us what we need regardless of the cost. I'm sure everyone here doesn't realize how lucky you are until you've been with companies who can give a crap less! They will start soon
I think that we use/contract out to inVentiv for promoting Xolair to pcp's to get referrals. I have wondered if Genentech would ever take those inVentiv reps and hire them directly? Genentech doesn't have a presence in the pcp market and from what I understand, getting Xolair referrals from pcp's is very important. Also, I think the contract is up in June. Anyone have info on this??
You are correct
Genentech does contract with Inventiv. Currently they have a derm sales force selling Erivedge to derms only. The Xolair product is currently a co-promote with Novartis selling to allergists and possibly others. They have added several dm's and now are hiring reps for the addition of another product to derms. This is how they want to expand into the dermatology field.
I'm interested in the current PCP inventiv reps promoting Xolair and whether or not we will get our contract extended beyond June? In addition to that, the people who are also with inventiv promoting Erivedge to derms were recently hired AND they are going to be promoting Xolair to derms for the ICU indication. Why two inventiv sales forces promoting Xolair? Makes no sense to me!
Makes no sense?
Hint: There won't be 2 inventiv sales forces promoting Xolair.

Plus, the specialty reps will have all of their attention on CIU, not AA,
