I heard that Steve Kroft of 60 minutes is trying to produce a special investigative report story on Intuitive. It was going to highlight the company's technology & the business tactics it uses against hospitals and employees to maintain growth.

Does anybody have any insight to this?

I heard that there are some disgruntle Dr's that are not happy with the stiff arming that intuitive tries to pull when trying to convert easy lap cases over to da Vinci.

wow, you must have left your house recently. EVERY MD, hospital C-O hates the intuitive BS. "if you don't do robot cases, I will tell the dumb patients in the community and they will not come see you/your hospital..." They're hoping pts are so stupid that they will ask for C-3PO to do their lap-chole. "Gee, it must be better." Don't worry about the wasted $ and lack of medical evidence of improved outcomes...
Can't wait for this report, hope it's accurate.
