Dont do it! The micro management is over the top. Half your time will be entering data into your lap top. Then they hound about following up on all the BS that you entered. Do not plan on making $100k. There are no happy Sales Reps at this company. Ask for a list of the tenure of the current reps. There may be a handful of reps that have been there for more the 5 years but they are the ones close to retirement. There are very few reps with 4-6 years of experience that are in their prime. News flash....there is no good job at quest....run, unless....you are lute rally down to your last 25 cents and have a nice box you are living in....even then working here is questionable at best

I call BS! Lets go over each point:
1) How much time do reps spend on their lap tops entering data and filling out spread sheets?
2)What % of reps are making over $100k
3)What's the average about of time a Sales Rep has been with Quest
4)What % are happy
5)What % have more then 5 years at Quest
You can argue all you want after you answer these questions with facts. My statements are factually. Yours is silly.

Prior to this tool, good sales people captured the same data. And why are you spending HALF of your time doing this? No wonder your manager has to spend a lot of time with you. You should asked to be re-trained using this tool.

Micro management at Quest has nothing to do with performance. The silly pre and post call crap you have to do are laughable. LCA,Bio Ref nor Sunrise have such tools that have to be used to the degree Quest reps have to use theirs. Discussing $100k is also laughable. What good rep at any of the other labs does not make more then $150-$300k? The point is Quest does not pay well. While I do not have stats there are very few seasoned reps at Quest. How many have left for another lab? Surely you would agree there are far more reps working for other labs with Quest experience vs the other way around.“Ask for a list of the tenure of the current reps.
