I was called for an interview with Strativa today. Need honest opinions on company, pay, benefits. I have been reading some old post and really want more current information. So far, what I am reading is not favoring them to get me to leave my current company. Any and all advice and information is appreciated!

the only reason many people are at strativa is due to getting laid off from a previous position and needing a job. if you have a job, i would stay put. i am no longer with the company, but it is the most unethical company i have ever worked for and no one in new jersey can be trusted. hell, most of the managers cannot be trusted. i was with strativa a while back when they were telling us to get fraudulent prescriptions from our physicians. pay is decent bonus can be awesome and the benefits are good. no reason to leave employment for a job at strativa.

By all means job this team. The problem you will see with many of the negative posters here regarding Strativa does relate to the fact that the majority of pharmaceutical jobs all the reps have to do is speak with the doctor, drop off samples with zero accountability and bring in food every once in a while.
The trouble that most people have with working for Strativa relates to the fact that we have to actually "work". What a concept? I mean work for a company that employs you? Unreal.
Truth be told, this company doesn't have easy products to sell and sales shouldn't be easy. Having difficult products to sell will allow the talented to rise to the top and the weak exit through the back door.
You'll be looking at a salary around 60K with a bonus plan around 30-40K a year which is attainable as long as you come here, work hard and expect your numbers to grow quarter after quarter.
If this sounds too challenging than write a letter to Obama, wait for government assistance, get a free cell phone, housing assistance, food stamps, etc and complain all day about how people that are successful in life didn't get there by hard work but by someone else.

Honest reply..... I worked here for 6 months. I left a well paying job on promises from the hiring manager. I stayed 6 months. The first week, I called my old boss and begged for my job back. They lie at every turn. It took me 6 months to find the job I have now ( and have had for 2 years). Do not leave a job for this company. You will be sorry. I do read the posts on here occasionaly bc I find them funny but mostly true. Im shocked they are still in business. And yes I am posting at 2:15 but my current company allows us internet access during work hours... Unlike Strativa. If u are unemployed use it to fund your job search. The above post comes from management. They troll this board all the time in defending the undefendable. This is a company of last resort. Good luck and I wish you well in your search... but not with Strativa, it is a bad move.

Run Forrest Run!!! Far away!!

Had been laid off so I would have taken just about any job. Was there almost one year before I was laid off with 50% of the sales force and managers. The B-12 (Nascabal)nasal spray costs about $250 per month, while a patient can buy 9 months of injectable B-12 for less than $15. I launched there Thrush drug and did quite well with it. I earned a $8K bonus that quarter, but the company dropped the drug so they did not pay us our bonus that quarter. The entire time I was there, I felt like I needed to come home and take a hot shower everyday because I was dirty. The regional manager BH, asked me to get my Doctors, PAs and NPs (all my friends/relationships I had built over years in pharma) to write Nascobal for all patients wether they needed it or not. What a slim ball. If you need a job, you can keep one at Strativa for about a year, but you will hate every minute of it. Times are tough now, so you have to do what is best for you. GOOD LUCK!

While you are off, maybe you can learn how to spell and use the proper grammar. Did you pass high school English? Rick likes people who can put a sentence together properly!

“A nightmare”
Former Employee – Reviewed Aug 23, 2012
Pros – I worked with a lot of great sales people. Direct boss was fantastic.
Cons – Terrible products, promoted off label, horrible managed care, pricing was stupid, targeting was terrible, training was the most unprofessional of any organization I've ever been part of (I'm thinking back to childhood jobs like McDonald's), turnover was so frequent it was hard to get to know anyone, data given to us was alway inaccurate, bonuses were unattainable, a constant organization focus on poor performance instead of exellence, organizational trust issues (getting a sig on every call, even no sample calls).
Advice to Senior Management – Upper management, go take the money you've made and do something new. Leadership isn't your thing.

Former employee - worked at Strativa Pharmaceuticals full time for more than 3 years

The grammer, spelling police in management always come out when they do not like the truth about Shiteva being exposed. The products suck, they are priced too high, and the doctors are not dumb. The doctors know these joke products rip off the patient as well as the insurance companies. They will always be hiring because they will always be laying off. I now work for a real company with great respectable leadership and great products. I feel good about what I sell and who I work for now. If you do not mind selling products that suck and working for scum bags that make you feel bad about yourself, GO FOR IT.

Reality check former employee - your in a pod now!. you have not made a decent bonus check, your drugs are established or a new drug has not been approved. you miss it here and you are relentless on our our boards trying to brainwash our sweet delicate 23 old children that now do your job. we will be celbrating in new orleans and your counterpart is a 55 years old rep, bosses your around and smells like your mom. your life sucks fucker.
