Talking with a recruiter about a position to sell Frontline and a few other products. The recruiter didn't tell a lot about the position and said that the hiring manger when they contact me would tell me more. I need a job so trying to get some real answers.
1. Salary range?
2. Bonus range?
3. Vacation time?
4. Benefits?
Thanks for anyone with real info..

Great good luck. Here are few ?'s
1. Why have so many good reps left the co. Over the last several tears.
2. Why do reps all their sales gates, but not Frontline?
3. What are Z accts and limit letter accts?

Here's the deal-good salary, good benefits, good products. To all the haters-I didn't say great, I said good. Corporate culture, not so good, actually it's pretty awful. Managers are stressed, most reps would leave if they had the time to job search.

Thanks for the "good" part and not the great part. That is every company out there. Any advice on the salary ranges, vacation time?
Thanks for all your serious help.

Vacation is very generous, you'll end up getting at least 3 weeks off a year minimum, plus we shut down between Christmas and New Years.

Compensation can vary depending on experience. Base anywhere from $50k to $100k, Bonuses and commissions anywhere from $30k to $60k, sometimes more if you knock it out of the park.

The good years can be very good, the bad years can hurt a bit.

looking at the same position in my area. Have just been displaced from med device, but before that I spent years in pharma so I think this would be an easy transition for me- and hopefully I can still ditch the tie!

Question for the seasoned reps: how is this different from pharma sales to say primary care offices? Is the access easier? Do you do lunches and breakfasts? Do you do a lot of calling on pet shops and big box stores vs the vets?

Sounds like it may be a fun change of pace for me ( I am a big dog lover) but only if the salary and bennies are comparable.

Thanks so much!!
