interview questions to ask

I have an interview next week with a HH company. Could someone give me some information on what questions to ask to make sure the job isn't a total farce and things I really need to know?

What are referral quota expectations. How has territory been doing meeting these requirements? Do you have a Medical Director (s) if not will you be getting one? (good to have one to help get those referrals) What is your budget- some HH have huge budgets, which is a great advantage- there is not much regulation so they get away with alot and clients will refer to them... what is the reputation of the agency? Is it in the Home health Elite (top 25% in the nation) club? That helps- what are services that are unique to your agency that will stand above others- Value Proposition (special CHF program, wound care program, etc.) do you just take Medicare or can we take some insurance to leverage those medicare admissions? (that will help you as many agencies do not do anything but Medicare, so if yours does insurance occaisionally, that can be an "In".) Do you get paid on just Medicare referrals? It is a very tough business... you will find out for yourself... I don't know what your previous history is but getting into hospitals is tough, you need medical directors to help you get referrals (at least in my case) and some agencies "rent" rooms at ALF's to guarantee referrals from the ALF's= I would ask that as well...
