Integra?

I know this is probably a dumb place to ask this but am very curious as to thoughts on acquiring Integra. Haven’t really seen the shoulder or heard of it used so don’t know how good it is or if it’s good enough to be a relationship sell...

also what are people hearing about Exactech. The big rumor was S&N to buy them. Will they most likely just go public again vs selling?

Nobody is implanting Integra. Most SN reps are attempting to sell exactech in my area and still can't get it done. Good luck.

Former Integra Ortho rep here. The majority of the Integra Ortho line is a dinosaur. A few cheeky plate and screw caddies, and some novel items like the total shoulder, 2 total ankles, total wrist which nobody uses, a nice tibial nail. The rest is trash. I wouldn’t get overly excited. If you wanted a better LE line you should have bought Paragon 28.

Integra has a handful of really good products like mentioned above, but they have never been a Orthopaedic company.

The 2 total ankle systems are Really Good, and the Panta Hindfoot Nail is the best on the market . As for hand, the Freedom Wrist is also #1 in the market , but there is just not high volume of those patients out there . a few other technologies like PyroCarbon implants are really nice .

it will be interesting to see what a true Orthopaedic company like S&N can do with it and expand and run with it .
