Hi,

Please give me honest thoughts on the Lucentis CS position. I work in retina field now for a different product used with injections. Do I want to consider a move to Genentech? Thanks! BTW-Territory is in the MidWest.

Eyelea has become the new standard of care. Gene should start marketing Avastin for wmd. It's their only chance to stay in the game.
Lucentis is fighting an uphill battle.

This group is at a transition point waiting for the new drug which could be huge, this isn't the lytics market selling the 25 year old only kid-in-town drug with no competition in sight. If you can't deal with competition, then either leave or don't join here

No one who has responded to this post is paying attention to detail! The original poster was from 2011. Hello!?!

So, there is a position open for a Lucentis clinical now. Do you guys call on retina only or all ophthalmologists? I am in medical device now but sold ophthalmics years ago. I am interested to know how the ophthalmology industry has changed the last few years. I always had great access with these docs. Is it still fairly open to reps in this industry? For those of you who have been around What kind of changes have you seen in the industry and how has Obama care impacted the market? What is in the pipeline and what is next for this sales force?

Not afraid of competition or a challenge...just curious to learn more before I think about applying. Give me the good, bad, and ugly.

My best suggestion is to connect with someone on LinkedIn and speak with them live .... way too much going on to type on here.
