I'm looking to switch gears from medical sales and I have some questions I need help with...

I'm in the 90's right now, what does this industry pay for salary? Average comp plans?
How is the access to the providers when selling tests?
Are you valued/needed in the office or is it more like pharmaceutical sales?

Thank you in advance for some insight.

First off........find another company. Secondly, every company will tell you they are reputable and you should work for them. This company sucks and and it begins with the management. Look around at some of the threads. Take it with a grain of salt. Look at it collectively and what general message are most people trying to say.

I love when mouth breathers come on CP with their generic reply about "it starts with management." Look at every company board on CP and it's always two groups of people. A) Loser salespeople who suck ass at their job and/or were fired or B) people looking to find info on companies. This is the WORST place to ask advice. Go to LinkedIn, message and reach out to some of the reps. Get some honest feed back that way. Talk to employees who have left and current employees. Coming on CP is a waste of your time.

Glassdoor is also a good site to learn about a company. You can get salary information there and typical interview questions.

I love when company cheerleaders come on CP with their generic reply about only " loser employees " come here and complain. " Coming on CP is a waste of your time." Then why y-o-u come here?

Did your NIPT test come back positive for Downs?

Did your NIPT test come back positive for Downs?

Oh man, wow! That was good and so creative....NIPT positive for downs, I get it. It's because we sell NIPT and test for a condition that makes people have a intellectual disorder and you are assuming since I made a comment, that must defy all logic, that I'm also intellectually deficient. Wow, so original, such a burn, so creative, so much hurt feelings over here. Nice one.

welcome back, company cheerleader............

Do not join this company!!! They lie, it's bait and switch in the interview process. Most field based employees are not happy! Glad I got out! The grass isn't always greener - company has very unrealistic expectations (quarterly sales goals). They will back track on every promise they make in the interview.

We're already losing market share. Several new companies in the area took my largest accounts away. I'm so embarrassed working here. Can the company cheerleader come here and give me well informed advice??

Absolutely. Base is around 90k. Comm is no less than 60% of base. If you make half of your base then bonus kicks in. 5k for every 10% it goes up. 4 weeks pto, but you can only use 3 weeks at a time. I negotiated for more pto and a little bit higher base. Access to providers to great; especially when I tell them I'm from Natera. Try giving them alot of little extras to increase your "value". I find out doctors and om bday and give them amex cards to go out to nice dinner. Golf balls, calenders, mouse pads, pens, flowers to nurses, etc....

*Troll Alert*

This company is fine. Base is great. Quotas are manageable. Don't listen to disgruntled employees. They most likely were fired because they didn't work. No micromanagement here either. It's a great job.
