I'm looking to get into medical device sales and would like to get some sales training ahead of time. Does anyone have any suggestions for independent sales training focused on medical device?

It doesn't exist. Well, someone will try to sell you a program, but it won't help. The best track for entering this market is to get a job selling B2B; payroll, copiers, wine, software, consumer goods, etc. If you have some measured success for 2 years or more...then look to a large device firm for an associate sales role.

Don't fall for some get rich quick scheme that some buy into the Med Dev Sales Certification with promised leads/interviews when you get out. It's not real and not worth your money. And, they will take your money.
