I have said it before and I am going to say it again. Vivus is making progress. If you listen to the people on this board you would think Qsymia was in a tailspin lower.

From IMS this is the latest weekly script number
Qsymia IMS 5/23 TRX up 4.8% NRX up 5.0%

As so many have complained about, the rising price of Qsymia, it looks like the scripts are holding and/or slightly increasing. Not bad considering the chaos claimed on this message board.

By-the-way, this is not Chris.

All Aboard, this is your captain speaking. Fasten your seat belts for lift off.

40% of the float is short. I would expect this if Vivus were in the coal business. But we are not, Vivus is in the business of improving and saving lives. Not a bad investment for $300/month.

For all employees that may be discouraged about their stock options or restricted stock being underwater. Don't worry, in today's market things can change in a heartbeat.

The problem is we are not making money. No matter if we are up one week or down, we can't make up the difference in the millions that we have lost.

Understood. Unfortunately for the employees the sales force is going to be reduced dramatically. This reduction, will reduce expenses substantially. With royalty revenue coming in from Avanafi the company will be near break even given the upcoming massive expense reduction. This will be enough to keep the company afloat and let the obesity market play out. If a partnership is announced like another posts suggests then it is game on...

I agree with you and with approx 20 pdi employes being pulled over its not going to be nice. My manager gave me this info and I put it out weeks ago. If your manager says they have no info, then your manager doesn't trust you or care about you. Managers, pharm D's and vivus pullover reps should be ok. Not 100% solid. They will get a severance and we will give up all that day. Be prepared, keep car full of gas, buy supplies, and start looking now. Do not wait until the last second.
