Impressive Pipeline; Impressive Financials; BUT tell me the DIRTY......?

I've done my homework on this company and considering a position.

BUT! I want to know the dirty and I know this is the place to get it without a filter.

For example:

1. How many layoffs since 2000?

2. What would you change about this company if you were in charge?

3. When do the patents expire?

The big pharma model does worry me because I've witnessed and experienced 'the massacres' that occur when products lose patents. So please share with me , what someone wouldn't normally tell another person about this company.

If you did your homework then you would not need anawers to some of these questions.

Great company, visionary leadership....just look at the stock.

They did let go thier oncology / rheumatology sales force in 2010 but that was a good business decision based on pipeline and market dynamics. From what I know of that they really did the right thing with the severances and benefits for the people who were effected.

Just look at the stock.

agree with all of the above but there is plenty of undeveloped talent that gets overlooked by senior management which, in most cases, is less than talented. Those who leave do so because you can only wait so long to grow your career.
