I'm drinking the Kool Aid and it's tasting pretty sweet!

Yes, I am new to the organization but all this negativity isn't bringing me down. My first 6 months here have been a blast. This sure beats wine & spirits sales and I'm on pace to make $250,000 in my first year. My AD and RM have been great and I met JW and he's a true leader with great customer skills. If you're considering a position at Zoll; jump at the chance and don't allow these negative underachievers to dissuade you from the best opportunity in medical devices.

Please heed the above posters advice - the pool is warm, jump on in. Ladies flock to Zoll reps like we were in Def Leppard. I have PHARMA chicks actually fighting each other to receive my money shot and all the while I'm cranking out 210K a year on average. Sure beats Enterprise and this sure as F gets me there.

lol!!! It's gotten so bad the company is advertising to B2B for sales reps!! Enterprise? Need u say more? 250 lol 200 lol. 150 lol more like 100. I guess they can't get true medical reps to sell to their message of deceit.

Hey man, what area of the country were you in at Enterprise? I recently came over from Enterprise as well. Amazed at the money they pay here. Didn't finish the management training at Enterprise before I was recruited here, so hope it was the right long-term move.

I'm in NC. Worked on auto repairs in rentals. Never thought ny mechanics degree would allow me to be in medical sales. I'm pretty confused right now and not getting much help. But hey it beats oil changes. I should clear 85j this year! Go Zoll!

It's literally like a dream come true. I was in Philly when at Enterprise and Zoll even paid for me to move! You also don't have to be the best rep here, just better than these whiny X-Nurses and Punks (trust me you all fall into one of those two categories). I already bought a boat and am renting a sick penthouse apartment. I don't think things could be much better.

Lol. This is so stupid I can't even comment. Pent house lol

I'm with you dude. I was a janitor and now I'm last in the sales standings driving a Bentley!! Zoll doesn't even care that I can't sell! What the hell, they can't get anyone else so I'm here to stay. Is today Friday? Gotta run Zoll is dropping off some money to my house.

Think Zoll would take someone from Alamo? I know it's not the "market leader", but I was accepted into management training. 2 year plan but 65K at plan after successful completion! Not bad for a 38 year old divorcee'. I'd give it all up for a shot at high tech med device sales. Bet my kids would like me again.

Come on board. You know more than RMs already.

Honestly you're better off getting in with Enterprise and then interviewing with Zoll. They respect Enterprise and I don't think they feel the same regarding Alamo.

Harsh criticism regarding Alamo. Alamo is a fantastic proving ground for producing sales professionals. Just so you know, I start at Zoll in the NE next week. At Alamo I was the district leader 2 years straight for new business growth. Keep your eye on the NE for top rep by end of 16 you Alamo haters! Question: Anybody know why NE has such awful turnover? Didn't know it but seems I'll be 3rd rep in 18 months.

3rd in 18months? perhaps for 1 single non-split territory. Now if you look at the NE for say 36 months they have churned around 25-28 (sorry I lost count and missed a few because they were in/out so fast). Good luck changing the world. Tell you what if you are #1 I will write you a check for $10k on the spot. If your not then you need to get a tatoo of a bulls eye, donkey......I will even pay for that too.

Times must not be so tough if you're throwing around money like that. If I lose my job I can ALWAYS go back to Alamo as they know I can "bring it". That being said, I don't plan on losing my job, although with your attitude you maybe should.
