If you have been moved forward.

Be thankful to have the rejection letter.

I understand theis economy and job market is tough, and, for those who are unemployed, the FDE makes perfect sense for a temporary paycheck but dont be fooled into thinking these opportunties at Lilly are good to start and/or continue a career. Lilly is a problematic organzation that is trying to stay afloat in these challenging times and will do what is in the best interest of Lilly, not you. More than likely, if you move forward, you will get an arrogant and rude District Manager who will keep you on-board until the two years is up and then let you go. In my opinion, it is not worth wasting two years of your life with this company -- unless you are unemployed and the local Walmart isnt hiring because you will be better off there.

Interviewed in Atlanta last Thursday...received rejection letter yesterday. What in the hell are they looking for??? With 10 years of experience under my belt, I just don't get it! Maybe it's for the best...now my motivation is to work for their competition!

Just got my rejection letter. First they said moving forward now this. Who can I trust?

You trust the posters here more than your favorite company's managers. 98% posters have moderately negative views to down right worthlessness of the company. Are you approaching age of 42 or so? If oyu do, rejection should be taken with pride that the God saved you from slavish servitude for money you can get job that is far more joyous and people who will respect you, your friends and family.

The company is barely surviving, believe it or not. If the company is ever forced to cut the dividend, it's very simple to predict what will happen to the market capitalization. The fact is the company has joined the ranks of the "dividend aristocrats" in the words of motley fool - which means if the dividend is not raised annually, billions of dollars will flow out of the stock - the credit rating and borrowing costs will go through the roof, and the stock price through the floor. Things are very shaky financially.

The smartest thing this company could do is put itself on the auction block. Sadly, that will not be a good moment for the employees. Proceed with caution on your "move forward."
