If you don't get ALO the writing is on the wall and your time with this company

It's more like if you get alo the writing is on the wall!!! It will be mass exodus to those that get it, they will take opportunities elsewhere!

Hmmm ... let's see

a me too DPP4 + a soon to be class black box warning for pancreatitis + Takeda sales and marketing strategy = dismal failure

The only question for alo is whether its script volume will be lower than edarbi or not. Forget any incentive bonuses for this dog, goals will be ridiculous as always.

Wait....I don't understand? Why do you think Alo is going to be trouble? Don't you know that Takeda has a vast number of former "diabetes specialists"? We were able to become the 2nd favorite TZD due to our awesome sales ability! How can you forget:

Hey doc, how's Actos goin'?

All we have to do is say:

Hey doc! how's Alo doin?

4 billion before you know it!

Where you guys were going, "how many samples do you need, and please please write my product"

Explain your sales pitch with Prevacid?

And it was the #1 TZD douchebag!!!!

You really think this is going to be the determining factor of people leaving? If you're still with Takeda it's most likely because you have no other options. It's been four years of signs to get out. If you're still around this will not cause anyone to leave, everyone should have one foot out the door already looking for other options. If you don't, you're doing yourself and your family a disservice playing the job lottery every quarter. This industry and company do not have a bright future.

Please, please, PLEASE!! The only reason actos was number 1 was because out of our two only competitors one was pulled from the market and the other had a very restrictive label change. You know it and I know it. Of course we took credit for our great selling ability when it was happening but, come on. You know and I know it sold itself and it was the best job for years and years. All we had to do was sample. My wife told our friends I was semi retired. Numbers and bonus were great and we hardly had to work.

Alo will be a failure because none of us promoting actos ever had to learn how to sell.

Maybe that is your sad reality and you rode the coattails of your counter parts. But that wasn't my reality.

You never read on here how great "we" were at selling but more as it was more challenging of a sales call and more interesting than a PPI. The responses are typically to the tappers that want to complain about "Takeda Legacy". When in reality, selling a PPI is mind numbing. How many times did you win cresset that way??? I bet zero because you would have talked about the trip. The company was extremely profitable during those years.

You say failure for Alo, so I ask what will be considered a failure when the company is hoping for 20 mil?

And you misunderstood your wife, she was saying you are semi retarded!!!!

OK, resulin got pulled in 2000 and actos launched in 1999. 2007 was the first year that concerns with Aviandia started and thats when the label changed occurred. By 2007, Actos was already the 10th most prescribed medication. So your logic is completely wrong.

Please explain why Actos was successful from 2000-2007?

Has Takeda ever had 44 consecutive quarters of double digit growth? I didn't think so. You don't know what it's like to work for a successful company. That's why your stuck at Takeda. Maybe the SagePath rumor is true, you'll be lucky if they pick you up as a rep.
