You forgot to mention mnk just had a conference call including over 200 employees in which they discussed the great and improved success they are having with the launch but never once mentioned how dismal the sales have been and NEVER not once mentioning they canceled the INventiv contract or that anyone was laid off

So what was the worst job you've ever had? It must've been some kind of pile of shit to be worse than the Mallinckrodt gig.

It's funny how people on here try and make things look worse than they actually are. Always looking for whats wrong instead of whats right. Probably why you can't sell. Your offices see right through you. MNK ended the contract because it wasn't working. When you have 75% of contract reps that are under 20 TRX after several months of selling thats a problem. There were only 10 or so MNK reps that were let go. That's why they still need good reps to sell in those newly formed 60 territories.

you neglected to mention the 50+ reps let go in august, some of whom were president's club winners. loyal folks who had past successes… but it doesn't contribute to your point so you left it out. hey, good luck with xxr and ofirmev. i wish you guys the best, but i think this marketing team will manage to screw-up 155 too. they still don't know what they did wrong.

Thanks, previous poster. The one I quoted above just conveniently forgot the 45 or so reps let go in August. And don't give me the old "deadwood" "you can't sell" line. It is old and tired. The 45 let go were not given any notice, 48 hrs to decide their future, and a measly severance pkg.

Funny how the theory being laid out a few posts up is that the drug failed as they had hired bad reps. Percentage wise including both sales forces that would be about what 70% of the sales team. So you contend 70% were bad hires! That is astounding. So who are their managers and the leaders above them. Clearly very poor judgment from the top down and clearly a combination of a horrible launch and more likely product not needed.

The truth is it is a drug not needed or wanted. The next new opioid will not launch well either. Try reading the papers the govt is pushing all the addicts off opioids and they will go to heroin. It was the potential from scripts being diverted to addicts that was the main cash cow and that cow is dead. Try selling cigs to minors next. Just my opinion
