And it's your own dang fault. Too lazy or too scared to go look for real work. Now you're just the shit stain on the side of the bowl after the big Takeda flush

serves you right

Jeebus. Where are you now? I take it if you are coming to these boards you must be long gong by now. On to an executive position at a leading Biotech. Because drug reps are sooooo hardcore....such a challenging job.
If you are indeed gone you are a loser for coming back here.

I was retained. I heard about this layoff through rumors since about early January. Credible source of a former big wig who told a few people before he left. When the announcement came I was not sure if I wanted to be retained or let go. My territory is now bigger than my former district. I have 2 partners. 7 reps had this entire territory before. I retained the same products, but much different weight. Big emphasis on Amitiza. I heard of a raise coming in the IC bonus plan. I wonder if we will get a raise in our base above the normal raise of 3-5%. I'm going to Deal with situation I'm in and hope for the best. I know of some people kept that wanted to be let go and vice versa. Seems like the opposite happened to the people that had a preference either way. Crazy how that happens. For me I'm still not sure what I prefer. 2 months of pay and 3-4 months of a lump sum or retained with a small raise and a lot more responsibility.

anyone who wanted to be let go would be complete morons. They are obviously clueless about what opportunities are out there right now. That big fat severance that looks like it will last forever? Watch how fast it goes! You'd be smart to dig your heels in and hold on to this turdshop job for as long as you possibly can,

1 year more unless they find a new product. Zero pipeline. 3/31 is Takeda end of year. 3/31/18 will be the latest round 2 occures, unless Takeda version of Tommy Boy goes out and saves the company.
