If Tresiba is only indicated for people in 3 professions, can the rest of us use a Sanofi product?

I get from the commercial that Tresiba is only indicated for waitresses, barbers, and delivery men. And what a great name to remind us of that fact (Tre = 3). But what about the rest of us? What if I am a frequent clubber? Or if I am a 40 year old lawyer? Or a sommelier? Can I take the Sanofi product in those instances?

No, they are accurate in their assessment of the commercial for that is your- oops sorry you were acting like you were a Sanofi employee Novo troll- Novo's selling point- " you can use Tresiba for you shift workers because you can dose it anytime of the day". BUT they always somehow forget to mention the 6 lb. weight gain and most diabetic patients are non-compliant and need a set time each day to remind them to take their insulin to help with their compliance and that Tresiba is less effective in patients with higher BMI's, thus obese patients, which are the majority of diabetic patients (check the Tresiba PI). No- I think you are the moron on this one.

If you're running with that, you're going to lose. Are you saying that obese patients take LESS Lantus than skinny ones? C'mon, surely you can do better than that!

Novo troll, you know as well as we do that your products can and should be used by everyone, including those that don't even have diabetes! Wink-wink!

Y'all think that you're sitting pretty, but you will feel the sting of Basaglar worse than we will. Wanna know why? We've been through several head force reductions, while you spoiled-ass brats bitch and whine when your Christmas gifts aren't "right", or when they narrow your car choices to down to a Ford Fusion (e-GAD!! What will Muffy's classmates Moms think when I scoop her up at Montesorri at 3pm??)

The question was about Tresiba and the reply was about Novo's promotion of it- not the whole truth. The individual was pointing out the truth stated in the PI. Boy you guys at Novo truly have no clue about why you are getting the shit from your leadership to pick up your numbers. Keep lying and we will keep reminding the prescribers of your lack of honesty on Tresiba. By the way- they already know everything about the Gold Standard in basal insulin called Lantus!

Long time lurker here. Only a fool tries to win arguments with a competitor in this site. EVERY time Novo trolls come on here to stir the pot, our fools take the bait.

Pathetic.

I'm out.

Did someone lie about something? What exactly was it? You quoted some info in the Tresiba PI, and I asked if the "gold standard" was making the claim that obese people didn't need more insulin. I'm pretty sure the last 15 years of clinical experience of physicians might answer that question. But, again, if that's the best you've got, I feel real good about Tresiba.
