If there were a deal.....

Lets just say if there were a deal in the works, for inquiring minds, this is what I would expect it to look like.....

1) The new partner will take on the sales responsibilities. Will the PDI reps be transferred to the new company? I don't know, but I'm hearing the reps with good numbers will likely be asked to stay.
2) Supposedly, the partner will take on most of the cost of the post trial studies. Of course, if Vivus looses the paragraph iv litigation than the partner can walk.
3) Basically, a new partner is walking in with no "down payment" until the paragraph iv is resolved.
4) Supposedly, there is an international pharmaceutical company that has a high degree of confidence in the validity of the patents. Furthermore, there has been some renewed interest in Qsymia. Must be the recent obesity publicity.
5) What is most interesting, is that there are discussions regarding the approach with doctors who claim to prescribe "generic" Qsymia. Whether it is discussions or a legal approach, I don't know.
