IAS waaaayyyyyy behind goals

Did roommate sharing have something to do with this? Or was it the 7AM to 10PM meeting days? Anyway, I feel super confident in the new leadership - a Patriots fan surely knows how to win.

3 issues:

First, Pfizer antibiotics are priced at a significant premium to the competition. To overcome that, you must be able to sell value (LOS, mortality, clinical science(MICs), convenience) and Pfizer has decided they don't want to approach that line. Mind you, the CIA doesn't prohibit any of this, but Pfizer has voluntarily decided not to be competitive to mitigate risk (remember Eric says we are a 3 alarm company). In it's place, SCREAM Zyvox.

Second, the recent "redeployment" more than doubled territory sizes while cutting lunch money resulting in fewer good calls on fewer good customers.

Third, the division is covered up in absolutely inane busy work. Templates, Iplans, Icues, ADAMS,virtual patients,TBOs, GPMs, Blue Books, Orange Guides, expenses tests, etc that have nothing to do with sales and in fact get in the way of sales.

Everything is self inflicted.

We in management know this but we don't want to hear it.

If I get one more message clarifying issues on earlier clarifications of earlier directions, I will scream. Here is a message for leadership- get your act together and send out clear directions on what you need!! Not only are you killing us with busy work, you are killing any motivation to do our job-ie calling on customers. This division is a train wreck and if it keeps up we should be shut down. It is time for our so called leaders to LEAD!! Presently you have confused your own people-time for a do over.

I think it's funny that people are surprised this division is crumbling before our eyes. Just look at the reps in the great reps who have left in the northeast over the last year. JW, BP, MT all left for smaller biotech companies. They saw the reality of the situation and did what was best for them. Certainly got me to pull my head out of the sand. If I were you, I would have that resume dusted off and firm up your network of contacts. The Prevnar 13 delay coupled with missing our goals does not make me feel good.
