At Schering plough, he was also called "Hassan the assassin!". This guy and his goons pulverized the employees at the end. I remember the day Merck came in and had hundreds of people lined up outside conference rooms getting let go. Hassan is the perfect example of the rich making a killing on the working class.

This is true in most pharma companies - the select few will get rich while the rest of us get screwed. I would suggest you find someone with long coat tails if you want to make it in this business. Sorry.

You're probably one of those 47%ers. Shesh, the guy is a job creator! Think of all the money being made over at those investment houses and how it will be re-invested in the US.

I'm just a builder that's all. You're the lazy group of entitlement seeking do-nothing workers.
If you had only created new entities that we could sell we wouldn't be in this mess.

Besides, look how well things turned out for the people at Schering-Plough and Warner-Lambert!

Don't forget that Mike Pearson was the main McKinsey Partner that Fred brought in at SP.

Together they brought Fred ~250MM and Bertolini ~$150MM.

Bertolini helped Fred pull Pharmacia through its Financial Audits so that Pfizer could buy them.

It only makes sense that Pearson lends a hand to his two buddies.

Saunders was just there for the ride, he followed Bertolini into SP and between him and Bob, Fred knew that Bertolini was too much of a bully to ever be a CEO.

Lots of $$ to be made by these four.
